Concealed Carry Course Syllabus

New Mexico law requires that CCW instructors teach certain things and abide by certain restrictions in their course.

The following is the basic CCW lesson plan. Depending on the number of people in the class and their level of handgun handling abilities prior to class, and time restraints, other topics may also be taught.

These might include (not limited to): low light shooting, shooting from cover, shooting on the move, and more.

Cost for a basic 16 hour course is $200 but you may qualify for reduced rates in a number of ways. Contact us for further information.

  • CHILD SAFETY AND HOME STORAGE
  • NOMENCLATURE AND FUNCTION OF VARIOUS WEAPONS
  • MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
  • CARRY OPTIONS AND EQUIPMENT
  • MINDSET AND MENTAL PREPARATION
  • LESS THAN LETHAL OPTIONS
  • CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LEGAL ISSUES REGARDING CCW
  • USE OF DEADLY FORCE
  • RANGE DAY REVIEW AND FIREARMS QUALIFICATION
